Natalie "Natty" Veronica Castillo

Born on March 23, 2020, Natty brought five unforgettable years of light, laughter, and love to everyone around her. A vibrant little soul with a smile that could brighten any room, she lived her days full of joy, curiosity, and sparkle.

Natalie is lovingly survived by her devoted parents, Gonzalo and Valarie Castillo; her adoring big brothers, Michael and Demarco Castillo; her proud paternal grandparents, Gonzalo Sr. and Veronica Castillo; and her cherished maternal grandparents, Danny and Mary Franco. She is also held close in the hearts of her godparents, James and Anais Santoy, and Melissa Alvarez.

Natty was a Pre-K student at Canyon Ridge Elementary School, where her boundless energy, creativity, and loving nature made her a joy to her classmates and teachers alike.

She was a little girl with big passions. Natty loved bubbles, painting her nails, and decorating everything around her with stickers. She could often be found playing in the garden, drawing with bright colors, or driving around in her pink mini Jeep. She adored Hello Kitty, Gabby Gabby, and watching Ryan’s World on YouTube. Time with her brothers playing Roblox, being Mom’s run partner, and drive-thru treats from McDonald's or Maui Maui were some of her favorite adventures.

Natalie will be forever remembered as the heart of her family—"the Boss" with an unforgettable giggle, long curly hair, and the tightest, most comforting hugs. She loved to be carried, doted on, and held close, and she gave all that love right back in return. Her energy was endless, her spirit bright, and her love for life truly inspiring.

Though her time here was far too short, Natty's light will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be eternally missed.

A visitation for Natty will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Rosary & Vigil starting at 7:00 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232. A funeral mass will be held the following day Monday, April 21, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Rd, Helotes, TX 78023. Natty will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
