Natividad Coronado Galleron was born in the Philipines on September 18, 1929. During the course of her marriage, she gave birth to seven children. Natividad became a widow and later married William Tripp, a sailor in the Navy in 1968, and moved to the United States in 1971 with her two youngest children. They lived in Corpus Christi, Texas where she worked at the Base Exchange for the Navy until she retired. William passed in 1996, and she moved to San Antonio in 2011 to be with her family. She is survived by her 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Natividad was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was loved by many and will be missed insurmountably.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Timothy Tate officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
