

Her sisters, Helen Boatright Hamer and Edith Boatright Logsdon, and brother Leslie G. Boatright preceded her in death.
She graduated from Slater High School in 1932 where she was the first Student Body president. She received her B.A. from Missouri Valley College in 1936. She taught math at Slater High School for three years before her marriage in 1939 to Chester L. Bueker who also taught in Slater.
After many homes in war years they moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1957. Mrs. Bueker taught math at Lee High School from the opening of Lee in 1958 until 1967 when Churchill High School opened. At Churchill she was Head of the Math Department and later became Assistant Principal in charge of Instruction and Curriculum.
She was a pioneer for women in High School Administration for the North East Independent School District. She was an active member of St. Andrew's Methodist Church. She supported the Retired Teachers Association, the Technical Training Retirees, the homeowners associations of Whispering Oaks and Canyon Lake.
Mr. Chester Bueker, brother of the late Armin Bueker, preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded by her sisters, Helen Hamer, a teacher in Marshall, Edith Logsdon of Raytown, Missouri, and brother, Leslie G. Boatright of Connecticut.
She is survived by a son, James Boatright Bueker and wife, Penny Mings Bueker, of Houston, Texas. She is survived by three grandsons, Richard Alan Bueker and wife Shannon Spoor Bueker of Pittsboro, North Carolina, Ronald Scott Bueker, Gregory James Bueker and great-grandson, Gregory James Bueker, Jr., all of Houston, Texas.

A memorial may be sent to the Boatright Scholarship Fund at Missouri Valley College. The scholarship was set up for worthy students who had graduated from a Saline County High School. Mrs. Bueker's father, Mr. L.G. Boatright, was County Collector for 8 years in Marshall and the entire family loved Missouri.
