

Nicanor was born on April 2,1942 to Aurora and Nicanor G. Medrano Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Raul, and his beloved pets; Precious, Chubby, Missy, Passem’ Up.
He is survived by his children Nicanor III (Alma), Miguel, Oscar, Maria Elena (Mike), and Victor (Veronica); siblings, Juan Ramon (Maria), Robert (Helen), Rosario (Henry), Margarita (Felix), David (Jeanette), Antonia (George), Sabino (Nora), Aurora (Luis), and Jaime (Debbie); 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Nicanor retired from the San Antonio Fire Dept. where he worked as a mechanic. He loved living in the country, hunting, fishing, and attending the yearly Laredo Trail Ride with his beloved friends. He loved his grandchildren unconditionally.
Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Palo Alto Rd., Monday, July 5, 2021 5 - 9 pm. Rosary prayer will begin at 7 pm. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 10 am at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX. Funeral service will conclude at First Memorial Park Cemetery in Von Ormy, TX.
