Norine M. McLean was born in San Antonio, TX on March 2, 1910 to Hugo & Rosa (Betzer) Meckel, and passed away on February 24, 2013 in San Antonio, at the age of 102. She worked for many years with her husband at their business, Dietz-McLean Optical Co. Norine was a life member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac; grandson, Mark McLean and 2 brothers. Surviving are her sons, Ray McLean and wife, Connie, Jim McLean and wife, Laurie; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
