Norine Case Tribbey

She was born in Newport, Arkansas on March 25, 1953 and was preceded in death by, her parents, Orville I. Richolson, Jr., and Betty Jo Wilkerson, and brother, Austin Richolson.

Norine was beloved by her friends and family and cherished the many stories of her grandmother "Ranemama" Wilkerson, who was a colorful newspaper publisher, farmer and postmaster.

Norine was dedicated to her children and grandchildren, and was a great listener for those seeking her advice.

As part of a pioneering newspaper family, Norine was publisher of the Newport Daily Independent and was a sales representative for the Houston Chronicle.

She was a graduate of Newport High School Class of 1971, attended the University of Missouri and was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

Norine is survived by her husband, Terry Tribbey; son, Wesley Tribbey; daughter, Ashley Nicholson (Brian); grandchildren Daisy Tribbey, Will Tribbey, Macy Nicholson and Nolan Nicholson, all of San Antonio; sisters Louise Richolson of Rome, GA, and Sally Hasco of Alpharetta, GA, and brother: Rick Richolson (Bernice), of Mount Dora, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 8 at Porter Loring North Chapel.
