

On November 10, 2021, Norma Edmondson transitioned from earth to her heavenly home at the age of 68. Born Norma Eulene Horton, she was born on July 9, 1953 to the parents of the late Joseph Norris and Donella Horton of Houston TX. She was the fifth of eight children born to this union, and three precede her in death.
She was a graduate of Kashmere High school in 1970. From there, she attended Texas Southern University, but later on graduated from the University of Incarnate Word in 2008, at the age of 54, where she stayed on the dean’s list throughout.
Norma confessed to Christ at an early age, and she was baptized at Mount Herman Baptist Church in Houston, TX.
She was employed with Pitney Bowes in Houston TX and later transferred to San Antonio, where she completed and retired with KCI after 22 years.
In 2002 after being together for many years, she became the wife of Clydell W. Edmondson Sr. for 20 years. No children were born of this union.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Clydell W. Edmondson Sr. Her three children Aubrey Horton of Houston TX., Audrey Hamilton of Rosharon, TX, and Christopher Hughes of Peoria, AZ.
Norma’s siblings Carl Horton, Peggy Emanuel, Carolyn St. Julien all of Houston TX, and Michael Horton Sr. of Forney, TX.
She leaves three grandchildren Jarrion Porter, Kyle Palmer and Montriniek Hawkins along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
