Ofelia M Garcia

Ofelia Garcia, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2016. Ofelia was born May 1, 1933, in Converse, Texas to Pablo and Maria Bonificia Martinez. She was family oriented and loved spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. She loved cooking and entertaining at home. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Eloisa Cruz, and Margarita Solis. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 ½ years, Oscar Garcia, her sons, Julian Esobedo Jr., Oscar Garcia Jr. (Sonja), Jose Gilberto Garcia (Elsie), daughter Ofelia Sandoval (Gilbert), 5 grandchildren Julian Escobedo, Gilbert Pablo Sandoval Jr., Lizel Sandoval, Valerie Garcia, Julie Ann Garcia, and numerous great grandchildren. The visitation will be on Friday May 27, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, starting at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Paul Catholic Church on Saturday May 28, 2016, with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
