Officer Jay V. Pena, age 33 of San Antonio, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born on September 22, 1988 in San Antonio. Jay graduated from St. Gerard’s Catholic High School and he proudly served with San Antonio Park Police since 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Pena; parents, Joe and Helen Pena; Grandmother Mary Esther Antu, Father-in-law Henry G. Munoz Jr, brother-in-law, Henry Michael Munoz; niece and nephew, Anthony Munoz and Maliyah Munoz.
Jay had a love of fishing. He had a passion for helping the community and was a dedicated police officer.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
