Olegaria P. Treviño

Olegaria Preciado Treviño was called to heaven to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 9, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Born August 15, 1942, she is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo Preciado and Olegaria Almendarez Preciado; and her brothers, twins Juan (Emma) and Amado Sr. (Idalia), Pedro (Esidra), Lorenzo and Domingo Jr. (Diana).

Olegaria is survived by her children, Juan Francisco Treviño (Maria), and Laura Treviño; her grandchildren, Mark Anthony Treviño and Vanessa Ann Treviño; her great-granddaughter, Paislee Marie Treviño; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends who loved her.

She was given the nickname “Mami” by her brothers that carried over by extended family and close friends. She devoted her time in helping others and kept her tradition in making buñellos for her family and friends.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Treviño Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road 78237, will be limited to 50 people in the building at a time. Face coverings will be required to be worn at all times.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 19th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the Rosary at 7:00 PM. On Thursday, May 20th, a Funeral Procession will depart at 10:00 AM and arrive at San Juan de Los Lagos Catholic Church, 3231 El Paso Street 78207, for a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. The Burial will follow at Mission Burial Park South, 1700 S.E. Military Drive 78214.
