Born in Laredo, Texas, Olga lived a life filled with kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love. She was known for her caring and giving nature, her endless patience, and a sense of humor that brought light to every room. Quirky in the most delightful ways, Olga had a unique spark that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Olga was a devoted mother to her son, Pete Alvarado, and her love for him was at the center of her life. Her deep affection for her family was felt in every gesture, every word, and every moment she gave so selflessly.
She is survived by Pete (Carmen Martinez) and many other family members and friends whose lives were touched by her presence. She was preceded in death by father, Tomas Alvarado, mother, Margarita Alvarado and brother Enrique Tomas Alvarado. She is also survived by her sisters, Maria Alvarado, Gloria (Antonio) Sanchez, Margarita Alvarado, Elizabeth Alvarado, America (Porfirio) Ramirez and Grace (Robert) Reyes; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Olga’s life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Porter Loring 1740 W Loop 410 N, San Antonio, TX 78251. Viewing 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a woman who gave so much love, laughter, and light.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations in Olga’s memory to Meals on Wheels.
Her warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be missed more than words can express—but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
