I will always have fond memories of your Dad, "The Coach", who allow me to stay with the SMMS Orioles even though I rarely came close to hitting a fair ball. He joins my Dad who went to his rest on April 4 this year, and Mickie's Dad. Let's recall and celebrate the 60 years we had with them!

My sincere condolances on your father's passing. My father, Tom Kyrish,Jr., passed away on September 2, 2002 and that is still a painful memory for me. As a part of the class of 1959, we are bonded in a unique way. Our families were part of the founding families of St. Mary Magdalen. I uphold that bond and I share your grief over your father's passing. I hope that time will heal your grief and please pass on my sincerest sympathy to your mother.

Mr Phillip was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. I know he meant alot to Jody and Kevin. May God give you much comfort and strenght to deal with the coming days!

Mr Otto Phillip was Herb's dad, and Herb and I were both in the same grade at St. Mary Magdalen's School SMMS 8th grade graduating class of 1959. Herb had to be one of the smartest and nicest young boys in our class. Our Class of 1959 had previously established an email networking group, and we have been sharing with each other on Herb Phillip's dad, Otto. I remember Otto as being the lead coach of the very hard playing SMMS Catholic Youth Organization baseball team. Mr Phillip was a go-getter, hustling at practice and at games. He also seemed quite a go-getter with the truck company, which I believed was referred to as GMC General Motors Corp. at the time. I always assume that Otto was a salesman, or perhaps a salesman/manager there. I want to thank Mr Phillip for his contributions to youth baseball, and his dedication to building such fine sports facilities as the well-lighted St. Gregory's field where I and my older brother, Pat Hohman, and our CYO teams played many a game. I'm so sorry to hear of Otto's passing. When I was a boy the Phillip household was my home away from home, and Otto was also always so active in church and school events. We'll all remember him. I send my sincerest condolences to Ruth, Doug, Herb, Donna, and Marilyn.
