Mrs. Byrne was a member of St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. She was a member of Santa Rosa Hospital Auxiliary, San Antonio Conservation Society and the Incarnate Word Alumni Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno C. and Hazel Gillespie Seewald. She is survived by her husband, Bill P. Byrne; son, Stephen P. Byrne and his wife, Penny; daughters, Sandra Dobry and Susan Byrne; granddaughters, Shawn Latham and Susanne Dobry; grandson, Paul Byrne and his wife, Laura; great grandson, Mason McDaniel.
