Patricia “Pat” Ann Crowley, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on February 11, 1949, to Monroe and Albina (Richter) Jandt. Pat graduated from Providence High School in 1967. Later that same year, on October 14, she married the love of her life, Michael J. Crowley. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion, raising two cherished children, Bryan and Lisa.
Pat began her professional journey in the insurance industry, but her true calling emerged in early childhood education. She dedicated many years as a teacher and Assistant Director at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, where her warmth, gentle spirit, and deep commitment to nurturing young minds left a lasting impact on countless children and families. In 2001, Pat stepped away from her career to devote herself to helping raise her granddaughters—an opportunity she embraced with joy and love.
Family was Pat’s greatest source of pride and happiness. Her granddaughters—Morgan, Shelby, and Kara—were the light of her life. She delighted in reading to them, taking them on outings to the park, the library, and attending playdates when they were young. As they grew, she remained a constant presence, never missing a concert, recital, game, or celebration of their academic achievements. Her boundless love and unwavering support shaped their lives in the most profound ways. Beyond her devotion to family, Pat enjoyed exploring new recipes to try, sharing coffee and conversation with loved ones, watching wildlife from her back porch, and searching for the perfect bargain on her shopping trips.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 54 years, Michael J. Crowley; her son, Bryan J. Crowley; her brother, Lawrence Jandt; and her parents, Monroe and Albina (Richter) Jandt.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Crowley Clark, and granddaughter Kara Clark; her daughter-in-law, Monica Crowley and granddaughters Morgan and Shelby Crowley; her nephews, Jeff Crowley, Wesley Crowley II; great-nephew, Kellen Crowley; and many extended family members and friends who will continue to honor her memory.
Pat’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched—with kindness, love, and quiet grace.
