

She was a life long educator specializing in language and learning disabilities. She received her Phd in Communication Disorders from UT Austin.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roach Cunningham; father, Dr. Ernest Patrick Cayo and mother, Anna Elizabeth Heldenfels Cayo.
Dr. Cunningham is survived by her beloved children: Sue Goodman and husband, Herb (Oakland, CA); Connie Cunningham (San Antonio); Bob Cunningham and wife, Grace (San Antonio); Trish Howard and husband, Bob (Moore, TX); Patrick Cunningham and wife, Georgie (Bulverde) and Kathy Johnson and husband David (China Grove); grandchildren: Phillip Howard and wife, Kristin (Naugatuck, CT); Ezra Johnson and wife, Debra (San Antonio); Josiah Johnson and wife, Mindy (San Antonio); Chris Howard and wife, Kacey (Plainfield, CT); Taylor Cunningham and wife, Michelle (St. Louis, MO); Frank Cunningham and wife, Angela (Buda); Ed Cunningham and wife, Shenika; son Jacoby (Katy); Javan Johnson and wife, Karen (San Antonio); Mike Howard and wife, Amber (Cedar Park); Sean Cunningham and wife, Virginia (Austin); Mathew Cunningham (Bulverde); David Jesser and wife, Teresita (Milton, MA); great-grandchildren: Justin A. and John Howard (Naugatuck, CT); Aurora and Isabelle Johnson (San Antonio); Brady Johnson (San Antonio); Morgan Cunningham (Buda); Ella and Jonah Cunningham (Mattoon, IL); Avery Cunningham (St. Louis, MO); Madison and Justin M.
