She went to be with her Lord surrounded by family on February 12, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas.
PJ enjoyed doing beautifully intricate embroidery and created special pieces for her loved ones to cherish. She also had a knack for trivia and never missed a daily episode of Jeopardy; responding to all the “answers” correctly. Her secret recipe pasta salad was second to none and was a delicious addition to all special occasions. She also loved listening to music and would sing along to her favorite Jackson Browne songs word for word.
She worked in the food industry as a server most of her career where she made lifelong friends and an abundance of whimsical stories. She attended San Antonio College with aspirations of becoming a sign language interpreter. You could always count on PJ telling her family “I Love You” in sign language. PJ also wore many hats: literally and figuratively. A hat was her “signature piece” and expressed her stylish ways in an array of many sizes and fun colors. You just had to look for her hat to spot her in a crowd. But most compassionately, she also wore the hat of friend, mom, consoler, cheerleader, sister…you name it, she was there lovingly filling in the gap to those in need. That’s what made her so special. And she was a good friend of Bill W.
We will always remember her contagious laugh, warmth, sense of humor and the many captured moments she snapped with her phone. PJ always made a point to send a daily reminder with a voice to text or message on Facebook to loved ones letting them know how much she cared. PJ was so proud of her children, grandchildren and even her great grandchildren that she never hesitated to tell everyone this joy. She loved how God had grown her family so beautifully.
Those who preceded PJ in death include her father and mother: John and Dorothy Stinson, Sisters: Nancy and Jackie (Bug), nephew Frank, and grandson Benjamin.
She is survived by her loving companion Kevin (Blue) Goodhue, son Michael Sifuentes (wife Cara), daughter Melissa Koehn (husband Jon). Grandchildren: Alexandria Sifuentes (Companion Angel Sr), Cliffton Wiegand (wife Audria), Zoe Jayne, Liam, Conner, and Jonah. Great grandchildren: Jasmila, Angel Jr, Jace, Scotty, and Breña. As well as, her brother John D. Stinson (wife Connie).
A memorial service is being held for Patricia Jayne Jennings on Saturday March 18th, 1pm at Believer’s Fellowship Church 13714 Lookout Rd San Antonio, Texas 78233.
