I am so glad to have had you for as long as I did grandma. I am so sorry I wasn't there for you these past 10 years since I left for the Air Force and I am especially sorry I let you down whenever I convinced you to have this surgery, I miss you very dearly and I always will! I have so many great memories of you and us together and I know I will see you soon!

Sorry that we left out all of the activities you were involved in. You were so active in the church and volunteering after you retired. I just can not and will not ever get over how I let you down. I'm sorry...

I met Patsy at Dick's funeral and she was every bit as beautiful as Dick always said she was. She was such a lady as well. He spoke so highly of her that I often asked him why they didnt just stay married.

When I worked at Mission Road Development Center in the late 1990's your Mother was the voice of Mission Road - both on the phone and at the reception desk. She was always a beautiful and proper lady and a pleasure to work with. I helped to buy the new phone system. She loved the "transfer to voice mail" feature because she no longer had to write out endless messages. The new system was a big change, but she adapted well. Ms. Patsy was a life-long of my aunt, Mary Mildred Spaeth. She was the epitome of grace and Southern beauty and we always enjoyed her company at family functions. She will be dearly missed.
