Patricia Ann Rangel

March 12, 1967-August 19, 2018

Patricia (Patsy) Ann Rangel, age 51, of San Antonio, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving immediate family at the time of her passing.

Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Patsy's passion as an elementary school teacher was reflected throughout her 28 years of dedication to the children of San Antonio. She retired from SAISD as a bilingual school teacher on May 31, 2018.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, antiquing, bird watching, baking and decorating for the holidays. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Arturo and Romana Silva and stepfather, Genaro Vargas.

She is survived by her husband and soulmate of 25 years, Judge Ron Rangel; daughter, Alysha Joy Rangel; daughter, Ronnie Madeleine Rangel; stepdaughter, Tessa Rangel; granddaughter, Daesha Barrera; mother, Gloria S. Vargas and sister, Esmeralda Hernandez, spouse of Norberto Hernandez, nephews Joshua and Jordan Hernandez, Ryland Rangel, and nieces Bobbi and Brin Rangel.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
