What I remember is her sense of humor. Her and my mom were close friends for a time--it was always a blessing when she would visit the house. God Bless you!

I remember the first time I met Patricia, her beautiful smile and gentle spirit left such an impression with me. Everytime I would see her she would always have a smile no matter what! She would always ask about my daughter Laci and what was going on in her life. Such a precious lady! Cathy you have been my best friend for 13 years, I know how much you love your mother and how you unselfishly cared for her since I have known you. I know the loss is hard. How wonderful to know she is walking without pain. I know when she saw the Lord she ran to meet Him. I love you all, allow the Lord to hold you close during this time.

Dear Danny and family, 
I know you will miss your Mom very much. Although I never had the privilege of meeting her, I've heard many stories about her from you. Any Mom that can survive the teenage and young adult years of three boys must have been an incredible person! I'm sure she was thankful to have a rose Catheyamong all those thorns. Seriously, may God be with you during your time of mourning. God is an awesome, loving and caring God and He promised to be with us through everything we face if we'll let Him. You are all in my prayers.

Dear John, Tina, Cassie, Amanda, and Russell, I was so sorry to hear that Mrs. Rangel had passed away. I know how hard it is when you lose someone that shared your daily lives. I am so glad that you had her with you like you did because the memories will never leave you. It will be hard for a while but God has a wonderful way of soothing our pain. Don't be afraid to cry. Everytime it hurts, try and think of a single moment you had with her, that was good and it will help. The way you loved her and took care of her is truly a gift, and I'm sure she knew she was loved very much. God knows that you loved her. Victor, Missy and Zac wanted me to tell you that they understand how hard things will be for a while, and they wish they could do something to keep you from hurting. But, they wanted you to know that there really will come a time when you will only remember those special times you had with your Grandmother, and you'll know that she is still with you because of those memories. You are all in our prayers and I have lit a memorial candle for her in our Church here in Fort Smith. God Bless you, Surennah

John and Tina and family, My prayers are with you all. I pray that you find comfort in that she is with the Lord and know that someday we all with be with her again. The Lord said I shall never leave not forsake you. May His hands touch you in this time and may His Strength and Love abound in your life.

Grandma for as long as you have been here you have been very strong for all of us. I know that you didn't want to let us go because you loved us so much. You had alot of strength, and put up a good fight to stay with us for as long as you did and now you're gone. The thought of you being gone makes me really sad, but knowing that you are with the ones in heaven that you love and have not seen you in a long time brings comfort I think to everyone. I also know that you are walking on two feet which you could not do before for a long time and you are standing with Jesus smiling down on all of us.I will miss you very much, but it's not a good bye it's just a see you later.

To the Rangel & Masterson Families: 
 It was such a privilege to know your sweet mother and grandmother. She had an indomitable spirit. She made others laugh when she was, herself, in pain. She loved and prided herself in her wonderful family, as she should have! I know from you all that she was dearly loved and that her passing leaves a void only the Lord Jesus can fill. Allow Him to comfort you during this time.

Grandmother, i know i havent be around to see that precious smile i hear about but i have seen pictures of you. And every time i see you when you are smileing i see joy and happness in your life and to me that is the greatest thing i have seen. It is hard knowing that you are gone but i know you while be in my heart and i know you are going to have a better life in heaven. I will capture the memories i have a i will cherish them in my heart. i love u and i will miss u.

Dear Grandma, 
 You watched over us like a gaurdian angel for the most of our life. Growing up having the privilige to live with you, and be the closest to you gave me great happiness in my life and ever-lasting memories. I know you are in a better place now and that you are smiling down on us from heaven. I'll miss you Grandma.

My prayers are for you to be comforted and feel God's peace. There is a special feeling to know you have cared for your parent and done all you can do. God honors that in more than His promises of jewels and long life. He also gives a certain peace, a certain feeling of release, because you have been faithful. Pastor, you and Tina can certainly say with confidence "We have been faithful servants of our God and to our mother." My thoughts will be with you all during this time and the time ahead.

What can you say when you lose your best friend? We are all going to miss her so much, especiallyher smile. These last few years it was apparent that she looked and acted differently, but she was still Mom. I pray some day I develope the wisdom and fortitude that she has had. She was brave, and always used humor as a way to get through life. Now, she is in heaven and we will see her again. We love you Mom, and you will always be with all of us, and we're better for knowing you.

Mrs. Rangel was a very sweet and generous little lady. I'll always remember her love for life, even when the chips were down. Her family has my deepest sympathies.

My dear Mom, 
You were small and frail in stature, but you were a giant to me. I will always remember your humor and sharp wit, and your bravery to walk through life with a smile on your face. You taught us those same things, and I hope some of it rubbed of on me. 
 But the biggest thing about you is that you are and always will be my hero, because you always had that smile through whatever pain you endured. You looked death in the eye and smiled. Well death didn't get you, God did. I think God was the referee in the boxing match, and He said "That's It, she's had enough!!" and threw in the towel. We knew we were lucky to have you this long, We can thank God for that, but losing you still hurts. What comfort we the living have is knowing that you are no longer in pain. The trade off is that we will never see that pretty face again.

It was an honor to have the mother I was blessed with. She was my friend, confidant, teacher and later in life, my joyous responsibility. I have no real regrets. Just love. Thank you Mom, you were a good Mom. May you bask in the presence of the Lord and be reunited with all those you have loved and lost. May you enjoy your healing and new life.
