We are heartbroken to learn of Pat's passing. She was a beautiful person who always shared a smile and a kind word. Pat was a gentle and loving spirit that was reflected in her art and in her life. She will be sadly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go to her family and loved ones.

I came to know Patsy because she was my best friend’s sister -when Judi and I were in grade school. Later Patsy became my home room teacher in middle school. But I was always impressed by her art, from the beginning. 
And now in our golden years, I will miss our conversations about our similar passions -Art and painting, and so much more. She will be missed.

I have so many wonderful memories of my sweet and talented cousin Patsy.  We will miss her. Our deepest sympathy to Billy, Judi, David and family. 💕

I am deeply saddened to hear of Patricia’s  passing. She was the sweetest, kindest person and she and my Mother, Gloria McDougal, become good friends after the passing of Ivan McDougal and Kou Yen Ng. Gloria took great joy in working with Patricia on developing the book, “A Legacy in Watercolor - Paintings by Ivan McDougal.”  My sisters and I lovingly called Patricia, “Aunt Pat.”  Pat was a fine artist and I am happy to own one of her paintings. My heart goes out to Pat’s family.

I came to know Pat through volunteering with Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin/San Antonio. I fostered her boy, Oliver (fka Basil) and helped her get him settled in. Since that time, Pat has been a loving, giving, and steadfast supporter of the group and cheerleader for the dogs in our care - donating her beautiful watercolor portraits to benefit the rescue and even fostering many dogs over the years. I will greatly miss her kind and loving heart, amazing talent, and beautiful smile. Rest in peace, dearest friend.

All of us at Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin/San Antonio feel the tremendous loss of Pat. She was not only a lovely person but had such a huge heart for animals.We cherish the years we got to know her and her friendship. We know that all of the animals she helped over the years are running to meet her at The Rainbow Bridge. Rest easy, you beautiful soul!

Pat and I volunteered at San Antonio cocker together for many years - back when she had Oliver! My Murphy was the 1st cocker she painted, then she painted my other 2. Pat was a wonderful friend, we shared the love of cockers and the love of teaching. Lots of happy stories and many giggles as we held the leashes for the pups and met so many people. We moved to Houston area by family a few years ago but Pat and I often shared messages and good memories. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Pat will always be a special part of our lives through the 3 paintings we have! Blessings always!!

I met Pat through Cocker Spaniel Rescue Austin/San Antonio. She gave freely of her time and talent, painting and capturing the soul of our dogs and donating the proceeds of the paintings to the Rescue. 
We became friends through phone calls, emails and texts. I will miss sharing our stories and experiences. 
She will always be with me through her art. Six of her pieces hang on my walls and I cherish them all. 
She lives on through her art. 
She was lovely.

Pat collated the watercolors of my uncle Kuo Yen Ng whom she spent much time with after the death of his wife, my aunt Lillie Ng. The book was a fine tribute to their friendship and a work of love. May their souls rest in the eternal peace of God.

Pat was incredibly generous with her artistic talent. We’re so lucky to have one of her beautiful paintings in almost every room of our house. She was amazing at turning a photograph into something one of a kind and special. Her memory adorns so many walls; she will live on forever through her art. Rest in peace, Pat.

Pat was loved by her fellow Cocker Spaniel Rescue fosters. When she read the sad story of my dog, Lil Willie’s passing…she painted his portrait. It meant the world to me. I will forever treasure the painting. Pat’’s spirit will go on through all the wonderful portraits and other paintings she has done. We will miss her, but never forget her.

My deepest condolences to Pat's family.  I knew Pat from her volunteer work with Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin & San Antonio.  She was a dedicated volunteer and shared so much of her time and talent with us.  I'm the proud owner of 10 of Pat's beautiful paintings and I will treasure them forever.   I loved how Pat always wanted to know about the dogs she was painting.  She was so sweet.   Pat will be greatly missed.
