It was great to get to know you Mrs Patti. We had a lot of great times together. I’m going to miss all the long phone chats we had and lunches we had together just talking about random things.  I always thought of you as a grandma and I know you thought of me as a grandson because you used to get mad at me a lot. Lol.  It’s ok. You always told me like it is just like I told you like it is which you didn’t like but we always listened to one another. You will be missed

  We send our love and condolences. Patty was a strong independent woman and Quincy shared memories of her from holiday parties with her being with the family as Aunt Patty. We enjoyed getting to know her and her love of animals. 
We hope you are doing well and thank you for taking care of her. She was lucky to have such a caring and sweet son.

Patricia Yvonne Scott.  Born in 1927 to John H. and Helen M. Wooten, she grew up in San Antonio during the Great Depression and World War II.  She graduated from G. W. Brackenridge High School in 1946.  She married Frank Scott Sr. in 1948, and with him raised two sons, Frank E. Scott and Mark W. Scott. In her 30s she worked as a stewardess for a charter airline, traveling to many parts of the USA and Mexico, and made several trips to Europe aboard the Constellation aircraft of the era.  She later worked as a real estate agent.  She spent a good part of her 70s caring for her mother, who lived to age 96.  Patricia or "Patti" loved animals, and nursed several back to health from serious injuries. Exceptionally self-sufficient, she performed most home maintenance tasks on her own, even mowing her own lawn on her riding mower until about age 90.  She never retired, and was working on numerous projects right up to the end of her life.

I will forever cherish the untold hours of conversation we shared about life, the Lord, family, and  her amazing life. She taught me untold lessons about living life to its fullest daily, never giving up, resilience, the value of little thing, and how much you can truly accomplish if you ignore the wheelchair in your life. She connected so many lives in the end and made us swear it would not end with her passing. She was a brilliant star unaware of her own beauty.  I told her often that her wrinkles were not from age but from all the love she inspired and the hugs she had earned from the lives she changed.  You shall be ever cherished Momma Patti
