Patricia Ruth Hoffmann Steede

Patricia Ruth Hoffmann Steede passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 after a 4-year illness. Pat was born on May 5, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Martha Anna Nieman Hoffmann and George Vernon Hoffmann. She attended public schools in Cincinnati, graduating from Western Hills High School. She served as an executive secretary at KECO Industries in Cincinnati until she married Richard Morgan Steede of San Antonio on April 6, 1963.

She is survived by husband, Richard Steede; daughters, Dr. Jennifer Lea Steede and husband, Snehanshu Shah and Julia Ann Steede Metz and husband, Dr. George Metz III; granddaughters Taylor Metz, Lauren Metz, Keaton Metz and Kylie Metz; grandson, Elliott Shah; and sister, Judith Hoffmann Dunham.

Pat was a 37-year resident of Hollywood Park, Texas where she was a long-term member of the Garden Club. She was also a long-term member of the United Methodist Church, belonging with Richard to McKinley Avenue UMC, Jefferson UMC and Coker UMC where she was active in the Questors' Class. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a beautiful lady who was proud of her family.
