He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricio Sr. and Cella Elizondo, and his loving wife of 53 years, Sylvia.
His daughter Yvonne and Jose Rodriguez survive him, along with his brother David Elizondo.
Patricio worked for Kelly Air Force Base for over 30 years. In his free time, you could find him outside, lovingly tending to his garden or behind his BBQ grill, of which he was a master chef. Patricio loved his saxophone and played it for over 60 years. He frequently played at Fiesta and the rodeo, and was an amazing musician. Patricio and Sylvia were some of the biggest fans of the San Antonio Spurs. Known to be a great helper to anyone who asked. But his daughter says she was just blessed with the “Best Dad Ever”.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday. August 12, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, beginning at 6pm, with a rosary service to begin at 7pm. A funeral service will take place Friday, at Blessed Sacrament, starting at 1pm.
