Patrick presented everyone he met with gifts to open. He left it up to us to step outside the box and open his gift of an internal and external God-Given sensitivity. The gift of a remarkable sense of humor even with his complex needs. I loved seeing and hearing him laugh with and at his peers at school. He blessed us all with his extradinary and irriplaceable joyful spirit that will never be extinguished in my heart. 
I will miss him so. I am sorry for those who missed the chance to know him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was Patrick's SLP my first year at Lackland. He always had a smile whenever I walked into his classroom. I always think of him whenever I hear the song "Wanna talk about me." For some reason it has always stuck with me that you all said that was his theme song even after all these years. I am certain he is doing just that in heaven. I will keep you all in my prayers.

We noticed Patrick's obit in the paper. We were your neighbors at Airman Scott Village years ago; our twin boys are in wheelchairs. We wanted to tell you how profoundly sorry we were to hear of Patrick's passing. We pray that God would comfort you, bring you peace and flood you with happy precious memories of your sweet boy. I had the great privilege of having Patrick in my classroom. He was indeed one of God's Angels on earth. The light he shed will never be dark.
