Patrick Joseph Monroe, 54, of San Antonio, Texas died Wednesday, July 25, 2007. He was a National Merit Scholar, graduating from Alamo Heights in 1970 and received his bachelor's degree from Trinity University.
Patrick was a lifelong member of St. Peters Catholic Church. He was known for his wit and gifted mind, always possessing far reaching knowledge. Patrick cared for his mother in the last years of her life.
He was deeply loved by his family.
Patrick was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nellie Williams McKinney and his mother, Ethel Sophia Monroe.
Survivors include cousins, John M. King, of Houston; Michael T. King of Little Rock; Stephen P. King of El Dorado, Arkansas; Matthew McKinney of New Braunsfels; Leann McKinney of Colorado; Billy Sullivan of Victoria; Mickey Sullivan of Goliad and Mary Jo Abramite of Goliad.
Funeral Services will be held at Gussettville Cemetery in Gussettville, Texas, time to be announced.
