Patsy was raised by her loving parents, Buck and Maureen Condra, in the close-knit town of Ropesville. She attended high school there, where she formed the foundational values of faith, family, and service that shaped her entire life. After meeting and marrying the love of her life, Pat Keller, she moved to San Antonio, Texas, where they built a life filled with love, hard work, and a strong sense of community.
A talented and driven entrepreneur, Patsy owned and operated her hair salon in Alamo Heights for 25 years, earning the trust and admiration of generations of clients. Additionally, she founded and ran a successful wig company in Abilene, Texas. Her passion for helping others feel confident and cared for was evident in both her professional and personal life.
Patsy was deeply involved in her church community as an active member of the Alamo Heights Christian Church. She generously dedicated her time to local hospices, offering comfort and companionship to those in need.
Following the passing of her husband in 2012, Patsy moved to The Villages in Florida, where she embraced a vibrant, social lifestyle. She enjoyed playing mahjong, bridge, and the domino game 42, and was known for her quick wit and competitive spirit. An avid decorator, she found great joy in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces and cherished her time spent in the WaterColor beach community, where she discovered peace and inspiration by the sea.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Keller; her grandson, Blake Christie; her brother, Frank Condra; and her son-in-law, Robert Story.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Angie Story (the late Robert Story) and Emily Christie (spouse Robbie Christie); her grandchildren, Nikki Kreger, Dustin Kreger, Brittany Christie, Katelyn Story, Brooke Hord, Hunt Hord, and Bo Christie; her brother, Jack Condra, Peter Cakmis, four great-grandsons, and numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who were touched by her warmth, wisdom, and generosity.
Patsy's legacy is one of quiet strength, grace, and boundless love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
