

Paul was a gifted musician who played the drums and loved listening to Conjunto music. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, carpentry, and barbecuing. He was a natural storyteller, always ready with a memory or a tale that could make others laugh and feel at home. Paul also enjoyed watching cowboy movies and cherished the time he spent surrounded by his comadres and compadres.
Above all, Paul treasured his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchild, creating memories that will be carried on through generations. His warmth, humor, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Paul is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dora E. Olveda; his parents, Catalina and Pablo Olveda; and his sister, Mary Carrasco.
He is survived by his daughters, Carol Castillo (Isaac) and Priscilla Olveda-Gonzales (Sam); his son, Paul J. Olveda (Beatrice); his brothers, Jesse Olveda (Gloria) and Steve Olveda; his grandchildren, Destiny (Antonio), Audrey (Salomon), Ethan, Aiden, Madison, Sarah, Emilio, Lorenzo, Catalina, and Camilla; his great-grandchild, Jovanni; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Paul Olveda Jr. will be remembered for his love of life, his music, his stories, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
