She leaves behind mother, Teodora Mendez; daughters, Maribel Mendez, Brenda Boyd Perez, Margarita Seeley and their respective families. Her legacy includes 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, countless friends and H-E-B co-workers. She was genuinely loved by many additional people.
Paulita was raised in Cotulla, Texas where she met the love of her life, John Boyd. They made a family together until John died from illness. She moved through life, often working with the people of the city, whom she loved. Anyone who met her knew that the light in her eyes and the care in her heart was genuine. She truly touched many people until her life was cut short in an unnecessary attack.
Dear sweet Paulita, we will miss your loving smile, kind heart and helpful ways. You are an inspiration to those of us left behind. We will never forget you and are better for the experience. Thank you for the time, love, and guidance.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 10:30 am to 11:00 a.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.
