Paula Vasquez Miranda

Paula Vasquez Miranda born on July 15, 1931 went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2019 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jose and Maria Vasquez and her 4 siblings. She is survived by her loving husband Felix Miranda and Children; David Vargas(Leann), Pete Vargas (Linda), Tammy Galvan (Rudy) and Michelle Lobitz(Lawrence). Grandchildren; Genevieve Cruz, David D. Vargas, Sarah Dehority, Doug Dehority, Pete Anthony Vargas, Jason Porter, Brandon Vargas, James Burkett (J.B.) and Vincent Benavidez. Also, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Paula loved flowers, singing and dancing, she was known in the community for always willing to help anyone in need. Pauline was congratulated and granted a proclamation by the Senate of The State of Texas, for being the first Hispanic female in the San Antonio community to own her own floral shop. She was also admired and respected for her considerable accomplishments and professional integrity. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday, February 13, 2019 the Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s South San Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
