She grew up in Somerset, Texas and attended Somerset High School.
Scottye was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
In 2002, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Alfred as well as her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Scottye is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Coston and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Lisa Schemm and husband, David; Lane Coston and wife, Joanna and Lyle Coston and wife, Brenda; great-grandchildren; Clay and Luke Schemm and Shelby Gothard; brother, Rick Scott, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
