I miss you, momma.
Life seemed to beat me down less when I had you in my life. You always knew when I was upset about something and you never gave your input into what I was going through. You just listened to me rant and that is what I needed...to just be heard.
I knew you always worried about me, because I was always alone. It was always hard for me to find comfort. 
And I hoped to be a comfort for you too, momma.
Even if I wasn't comfortable to be around sometimes. Forgive me, momma.

Momma, I will forever treasure all the laughter, tears, hugs and kisses on your head. I’m grateful that for the time I had with you. The journey that you have gone through has made me see things in a different perspective. We must all love one another for tomorrow is never promised. My heart is broken and you hold the missing piece. Until we meet again my heart will mend. I promise that I’ll always keep your memory alive. Be happy momma for you no longer have pain. Always know you’re my hero and my world. Although this is hardest lost I had to go through. You comforted me telling me that you saw your dad, mom, baby Gilbert and all your love ones. I’m at peace for I know the Lord welcomed you with open arms through the gates of heaven. I’ll be seeing again!!!! Love you near, Love you Far, Love you with all my mighty heart. Te amo mami y nunca te olvidare……

First off grandma I just want to say thank you for raising me since I was a child, me and my little sister. I never got to tell you how grateful I am to have such a precious beautiful woman in my life to do that. Not only were you my grandma, you were my other mom, my dad and my best friend. The bond we had together was something you can’t find anywhere else. Always going out late to get food, watching movies or tennis together at like 5am. You watching me play games or making fun of me blowing up while I played tanks with my buddies. There was never a dull moment with you grandma, the relationship we had was the best thing I have ever had in my life with any person. I know you are at peace now and with your mom and dad and the rest of your family. I’m just glad to have had you in my life and shape me into the man I am today and still becoming. I love you so very much and I will live my life to the fullest for you and the rest of my family grandma. I know you are always with me and our family guiding us and watching over us. 

You held such an important role in our lives as the grandchildren. Our fondest memories growing up in your house in sky harbor with our family together for birthday parties, for holidays, for visits. We will never forget the safe zone you established for us to share and create memories. We know you are no longer suffering and we as a family will forever be grateful for the moments we got to share with you. I am grateful I got to see you one last time and show you that I am standing after beating cancer. I am so grateful I got to see you happy and hold you. I love you and where ever life takes us, we will forever hold you dear to us grandma. Till we meet again. 

The time for wishes is over.
Hope is still viable, momma.
I hope you are with your momma and poppa and with baby Gilbert. I know he waited a long time for you. 
You'll always be with me, wherever I may be. And I hope to be with you again some day.
Take care of her, Lord. Thank you for giving me this momma.
