Pedro served in the U.S. Army, 82 Airborne Div., 173rd Brigade and received the Purple Heart in Vietnam. He worked for the US Postal Service for over 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Salazar, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Salazar; son, Peter Joshua Salazar; mother, Sixta S. Ibarra; brother, Ramon (Janie); sisters, Margarita (Ben), Joann (Mick); and family, friends and fellow Veterans..Airborne
