Born in Watertown, South Dakota on January 23, 1949, Peggy was an exuberant part of what her family fondly called "one hundred little fingers and toes"; the Beglau siblings that included older sister Mary Beglau Wykes, younger brothers Paul and Bob, and younger sister Nancy Beglau Black. Peggy loved her children, Lisa Williams, Linda Williams and Lee Williams, and was thrilled when they gave her the gift of grandchildren. Her grandsons Devon Williams, Jaydon Williams, and her granddaughter Haley Williams gave her much joy.
Peggy shared her life and her twelve-year battle with cancer and her tremendous faith with her loving husband of 25 years, Kevin Trainor. Together they traveled, and sang and worshiped and loved their family. Always ready for a game of cards, Peggy had a ready laugh and a "Beglau" competitiveness that served her, and all of us who loved her, very well. Peggy's deep faith was the bedrock of her life, and she never missed the chance to witness for Christ Jesus.
A caring nurse and a compassionate Stephen's Minister, Peggy served her patients with love and with music. She frequently played her sister Mary's songs for them, and gave them copies of Mary's tapes. A tough fighter with amazing courage, she was always the survivor, never the victim. She has won the battle, and gone home to rest in her Lord.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. on Friday, April 19, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 16320 Huebner.
