Pete Tristan, age 67, of San Antonio, died Monday, June 4, 2001. He was a graduate of Southwest Texas State University. Mr. Tristan was a member of St. James Catholic Church and retired from the Texas Department of Human Services after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Lidia M. Tristan; daughters, Martha Ann Walker and husband, Kevin, Ft. Worth, TX, Judy Atwell and husband, Kent, Nancy Marie Hernandez and husband, Edward, all of Converse, TX. Brenda Janice Marrone and husband, Scott, Irving, TX; brothers, Martin Tristan, Isidor Tristan and Carlos Tristan; sisters, Maria Tristan, Georgia Rymers, Beatrice Bustamante, Carolyn Cortez, and Laura Mendez; grandchildren, Timothy, Nathan and Elisa Walker, Joshua and Matthew Atwell, Tristan and Troy Hernandez, Sarah and Claire Marrone; numerous nieces and nephews. A beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, he was dedicated to his grandchildren at academic and sporting events. He lived life to its fullest and will be greatly missed.
