Petra Cano

Petra Cano went to be with our Lord on September 17, 2018 at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bernardino Cano and Maria Justa Gonzalez and her son, Pete Lopez, Sr. She is survived by her loving children, Gloria Cano and Manuel Cano. Petra is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Pete Lopez, Jr. (Joyce), Paul Lopez (Brittany), Georgina Elliott (Lamar) and Noel Anguiano (Christina). As well as, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.

Petra was a hard worker who always put her family before herself. She liked to cook and eat pan dulce, spend her time sewing dresses for herself and family, she made quilts for all the grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, September 25, 2018 a 10:00 a.m. Mass will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
