Philip Jeff Davis

After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, he joined the Navy where he proudly served in Vietnam while assigned to the USS Coral Sea. When he returned to Texas, he proposed to his sweetheart, Mary Ann, and they were married for over 35 years. Philip had great patience and was very loyal and giving. He loved to tinker, if it was broken he could fix it, whether you were family or not. Philip was a member of American Legion Post #547 and a member of the Dewville Methodist Church.

Philip is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Davis.

Survivors include 3 sons, James Travis Roselius (Jenny), Jeffrey Daniel Davis (April), and John August Roselius (Jennifer); brothers, Fred Davis (Brenda); Gene Davis; 5 grandchildren, Daniel, Keane, Joshua, Demetrius and Claire; and his dog, Mellon, who was his most loyal companion.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, December, 29, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
