

In 1962, Randy graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas and then attended the University of Oklahoma. He went on to medical school at the University of Texas at Galveston, where he specialized in orthopedic surgery. Randy had a successful sports medicine and orthopedics practice in San Antonio for 42 years.
Randy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pamela Perry Craven; daughter, Shannon Craven Bright and her husband, Brad Bright of San Antonio, TX; son, David Craven and his wife, Brooke Veith Craven of Denver, CO; and sister, Carol Troy of Oklahoma City, OK. He has five grandchildren: Dylan Bright, Chase Bright, Sawyer Craven, Waker Craven and Ellory Craven.
Randy attended Oak Hills Church, where he enjoyed serving on the Host Committee. He loved his family and his Lord above all else. He was passionate about his country, history, hunting and sports. As a physician, he always put the needs of his patients first, and he loved practicing medicine.
