Phyllis Delores Leggett Beyer passed away on January 21, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 67. She was born on March 18, 1958, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Ronald Eugene Leggett and Ruth Elaine Young Leggett. She moved frequently during childhood due to her father’s military service, before settling with her family in Schertz, Texas as a teenager.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Ruth Leggett, and her sister, Patricia Leggett. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Beyer; her daughter, Jennifer Preiss; son-in-law, Craig Preiss; grandchildren Kayla, Jacob (and wife Brianna), and Meghan; and her sister, Peggy Leggett.
Phyllis will be remembered for her tender, generous heart, her deep love for family, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in the yard, and most of all, being with family and friends.
