

Phyllis courageously served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and rose to the rank of Sergeant. She retired from Civil Service after 10 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her first husband; M/Sgt. James T. Fitzgerald, second husband; Col. Jack D. Wallace, son; James T. Fitzgerald, Jr., stepson; Jack D. Wallace, Jr., brothers; Russell Burke, Paul Burke and Gerard Burke, and sister; Roberta Manarello. Phyllis is survived by her brother; Dr. Ronald K. Burke, her daughter; Elizabeth A. Crissey (Melvin P.), daughter; Mary Colleen Fitzgerald, Stepdaughters; Jeanette Pierce (George), Mary Finney (Michael), Katherine Griffin (Harry), grandchildren; Laura E. Anderson, Kevin F. Crissey (Emma Reynolds), great grandchildren; Pace Anderson (Emily), Cameron Crissey, Gabriella Anderson, Carson Crissey, great-great grandson; Curren Anderson and many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews."
The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary North
