Rafael G Torres

Rafael “Ralph” G. Torres Jr. entered into his eternal rest on October 13, 2023 at the tender age of 70. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 22, 1953 to Elvira Suarez and Rafael Torres Sr. He was the third oldest out of seven children.

Rafael moved to Michigan in 1977 with his sister to get more opportunities for his family. He was able to find a position with the water treatment center, where he served for 39 years. After his retirement, Rafael moved back to San Antonio, Texas to be closer to his son Anthony. During his retirement, Rafael found the joys of life. He would take walks around the block, watch tv. His favorite show was Sons of Anarchy, never missing an episode. Most of all, Rafael had a heart of gold, he would help and take care of anyone in need.

Rafael will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Elvira Suarez and Rafael Torres Sr.; and brothers, Richard Torres, Johnny Torres, and Victor Torres.

Rafael’s memory will forever live in his children, Anthony Torres, Rafael Torres Jr., Steven Torres, and Phillip Torres; siblings, David Torres, Sylvia Herrera, Olga Salas, Norma Booth, Rene Torres, Ralph Torres Jr, Esther Valdez and Tina Rodriguez. Grandchildren, Eliza Torres, Adrianna Ledesma, Ralph Torrez, Elianna Torrez, Meliano Torrez, Gino Torrez, Novea Torrez, Steven Torres, Noah Torres, Loreanze Torres; special family friends, Paul Sanchez and Ignacio “Nacho” Contreras; and numerous extended family and friends.
