I knew Ralphie for A brief time but I am honored to say that I was lucky enough to know him. He was a great man and a wonderful husband, father, son and brother. He came from a wonderful family and I know that he will be missed. My deepest sympathy,he will be greatly missed.

To our good friend, who had a heart the size of the world, you will be missed, but will remembered in our hearts and prayers.

I've only known Ralph for about four years, but he was one of those people that treats any new friend like he's known them all his life. I usually would talk to Ralph in the mornings after dropping off our children at Blessed Sacrament School, and then many times in the afternoon when picking them up. Occasionally we would go down to Mariano's or Oblate Cafe for breakfast when time permitted. The things I'll remember the most about Ralph are his persistent smile, his love for his family, and his faith in God. His adoration for his Brianna, Trey, and Alma were always evident since we mostly talked about our families. No one loved his family more than Ralph. I feel like I have lost a lifelong friend. That's the impression Ralph leaves on someone he only known for a short while. I thank God that I was one of the privileged that got to know him. God Bless you, Ralph, Alma, Brianna, and Trey.

Dear Alma, Brianna & Trey: While I know there are no words that could ever adequately convey our sincere sorrow in the loss of your dear husband and father, please know that there are those of us that only spent a short time getting to know Ralph and we too are profoundly moved by his passing. In this short time that I knew Ralph, he was such a joy to be around. I could always rely on Ralph being the problem solver when things were not quite ready to leave for a field trip. I am sure that there were other things that he could have been doing before going to work, but Ralph was there for his children. I know that Ralph worked hard at his job, but he recognized that he worked to live and did not live to work! In our conversations, he was looking forward to the next barbeque or trip to the coast. These trips were never as frequent as he would have liked but he savored any time that you had together. Alma, I know that you are aware of how supportive Ralph was for you when you were pursuing your advanced degree, but that was also apparent to others outside of the family. He was selfless when he took on the additional family chores and duties. He even shared his laundry tips with us on field trips! The tears that we shed are for the loss of the promise of things to come, but I prefer to think Ralph's light continues in the eyes of Brianna when she excels academically or in Trey when he sings the next song! I've Known Ralph Since Veronica and I were in middle school.. He was always fun to be around with, always making us laugh. I ran into Ralph a while back and was telling my Husband and i what he had been thru. He also knew my husband from working together at krogers. Ralph will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to the Bustillo family. I had the privlidge of working with Ralph for 12 years with EDS, he was always cracking jokes, he was a good friend and co-worker, and I will truly miss him. The memories I have of my childhood friend will always live with me. Ralph was such a happy go lucky guy, that nothing seemed to bother him. I remember the many times we played football together in his backyard.I saw him about a year ago and he encouraged me in one of my tough times.
