Ramiro Gonzalez, Jr.

Ramiro Gonzalez, Jr., (Moose), went to be with our Lord, November 18, 2020 at age 61. He was born on August 27, 1959, in El Paso, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro M. Gonzalez, Anita T. Gonzalez and sister Rosalinda G. Herrera. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Patricia Gamboa-Gonzalez; along with five children; Ramiro Gonzalez, III, TJ and Melodie Sibrian, Amanda Sibrian, Andrew and Casandra Sibrian, Alyssa and Erica Campos; granddaughters, Alina, Amaya, Zariana, Zaraceli and Lola; grandsons, Anthony, Mason, Ethan and JD; brothers Rolando and Agnes Gonzalez, Ricardo and Ruby Gonzalez; and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives along with his beloved Dotson Myla Mae. Ramiro was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone. Ramiro loved watching NASCAR racing, an avid collector of NASCAR and 18-wheeler model vehicles as well as enjoyed his daily trips to Circle K and QuikTrip for his Big Red, Red Vines and Gummy Bears. He loved all nine of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Ramiro was a very religious man that would pray for his family and others any chance he had and would sing his Christian songs when he could. He was a part of the South Texas Four Wheelers Club in the 80’s and worked for many years with Fairchild Gen-Aero, Texas Towing, and had a great career over a span of twenty years with CPS Energy. Ramiro, (Moose), touched the lives of many people with his friendly warm smile, generosity and maintained his love for life as we will cherish his impact on our lives forever.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020, at 5pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm, at Porter Loring Mortuary. Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at 9am for a 10am Funeral Mass at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
