Raul Garza

Raul Garza , entered into eternal rest on September 17, 2024, in San Antonio, TX at the age of 93. Raul was brought into this world on July 10, 1931 to his parents, Mateo Garza and Julia Balberas. Mr. Garza enjoyed outdoors along with hunting and fishing and a good game of baseball.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mateo Garza and Julia Baldera spouse, Avelia Garza.

Raul is survived by his children, Julia Cano (Richard), Teresa Castillo ( Juan ꭞ), Cristella Bermea (Juan ꭞ), Raul Garza Jr. (Eva), Susie Garza (Joe), Lisa Leonard, Lee Leonard, Hector Garza (Lisa), Roel Garza (Veronica); grandchildren, Ramiro Rodriguez, Juan Castillo, Adriana Castillo, Maria Elena Castillo, Terry Bermea, Johnny Bermea, Johnathan Garza, Jason Leonard, Tasha Garza, Roldan Garza, Marisa Garza, Alyssa Garza, Lorri Garza, Bianca Garza, Autumn Garza, Edward Martinez, Brianna Valdez, RJ Garza Lacey Gonzalez; siblings, David Garza, Oscar Garza, Pablo Garza, Rene Garza, Oralia Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by family and friends.

A visitation for Raul will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237, followed by a chapel service at 7:00 PM.
