Ray Martinez

He was born September 21, 1957, in El Paso, Texas, to Jose and Elena Martinez.

An avid golfer, Ray was the 2007-2008 Silverhorn Golf Club Champion. He dreamed of playing on the greens of Scotland and Australia.

A kid at heart, his favorite place was Disney World. In addition to being a loving husband, father, brother and uncle, he was a godfather to many and made you feel like you were his best friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dolores Cromeens and Jose R. Martinez; sister-in-law, Bea Martinez.

Ray is survived by his wife, Katherine Martinez; children, Hanna Rae and Madelyn Eryn Martinez; siblings, Hector Martinez, Gloria Fernandez and husband, Ed; Maria L. Lopez and husband, Jesus; many nieces, nephews, all his golf buddies and his family at Utility Trailer.

We will miss you.

Pallbearers will be Hector Martinez, Art Alvarado, Jesus Lopez, Sr., Jesus Lopez, Jr., Pat McNutt, John Kohler and Ed Fernandez.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8115 Datapoint Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78229 or a trust fund established by Utility Trailers in the memory of Raymundo Martinez for the benefit of his daughters, Hanna Rae and Madelyn, at any Frost Bank.
