Raymond went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2014 at the age of 55. He was an active member of St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He also volunteered with many organizations such as AA, NA, Acts Brothers, and ACTS Community. He loved sports; played high school football for Kennedy High School, and was a 1st Degree Blackbelt in JuJitzu. Raymond was a changed life that changed lives and will truly be missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Baldemar Raymond Salcido. He is survived by his loving mother, Elisa Olivarri Salcido, sister: Susanne (Leonard) Draper, Nephew: Daniel Rangel, Niece: Destinee (Ryan) Ghiloni, Aunt: Olivia (Marcos) Solis, Cousins: Reynaldo Solis, Steve (Mary Ann) Solis, and Andrew Solis; and numerous relatives and friends.
A visitation will begin on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 6:00PM, Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM that same evening. A funeral procession will depart on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 12:30PM for a Mass of Resurrection at 1:00PM at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
