

She was born June 5, 1952, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Richard N. and Josephine B. Nabholz.
Beckie graduated from West Waterloo High School in 1970. She entered the U.S. Air Force and accumulated a career of high achievements, including promotion to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. She has served her country throughout the world including Europe, Asia and numerous stateside locations. Beckie's son, Maj Kevin Kotula, had the honor of retiring her at his pilot training graduation, after more than 26 years of service to the U.S. Air Force.
Beckie is one of the most successful and decorated women in military history. Upon retirement, she used her military experience to further serve her country as a Jr. ROTC instructor and as a Federal Civil Servant.
Her entire life has been a great example of service to her family and her country. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine and her son, Steven Richard Kotula.
Beckie is survived by her husband, Roy Hall; son, Maj Kevin Kotula, USAF and wife, Amy; brothers, Steven and Ricardo Nabholz; father, Richard Nabholz and wife, Pita; step-son, Aaron Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
