Born on December 11, 1948, Becky lived a life rooted in devotion to those she loved most. She was a woman of warmth, quiet strength, and deep compassion, whose greatest joy came from time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 55 years, Charles Pollock; her beloved mother, Betty Jane Aboltin; and her sister, Paula Gleason.
Becky is lovingly survived by her daughters, Michelle Romero (James), Melissa Soefje, and Ashley Pollock; her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her beloved sisters, Lynda Leadford (Ken), Donna Fremin, Talya Hastings, and Angela Goldsbury (Kit). She is also survived by her in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Becky found happiness in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved tending to her yard and creating a home filled with warmth and love. She treasured quiet evenings watching classic movies with her husband, and she had a special fondness for elephants and hummingbirds—symbols of her gentle spirit and enduring love.
She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her nurturing heart, and the countless memories she created with those closest to her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to caregivers Karla Rodriguez and her granddaughter, Andrea Sarkis, for the compassionate and loving care they provided to Becky, as well as to the dedicated team at Heart of Texas Hospice.
