Reynaldo Galindo Alvarado went into eternal rest on January 20, 2015 at the age of 83. He retired from the City Public Service Board after 38 years of service. He is reunited in death with his beloved wife, Luisa G. Alvarado; nephew, Rene Alvarado, and his siblings, Santiago G. Alvarado, Hilario G. Alvarado, Alberto G. Alvarado, Enrique G. Alvarado, Julian G. Alvarado, Carmen Flores, and Janie Arroyo. He is survived by his children, Celia A. Adams, Carmen A. Roja (Frank), Sandra A. Araujo, Nora Alvarado, Reynaldo Alvarado Jr., Daniel Alvarado, Jennifer Alvarado; grandchildren, Richard S. Adams, Taylor M. Barroso; great-grandchildren, Ashton S. Beltran, Nathaniel S. Adams; sisters, Guadalupe G. Alvarado, Raquel Shettler; brother, Celestino G. Alvarado, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
