Reynaldo Lopez, Jr.

Reynaldo Lopez, Jr., lovingly known as Ray, passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 83, in San Antonio, TX. He was born on June 15, 1940, in Dolores, TX. Ray was a kind, welcoming, and generous individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Surviving Ray are his beloved wife, Hope; their son, Rey; and his cherished grandchildren, Ruben and Elena. His mother, Betty, and father, Ray, preceded him in death.

Ray received his primary education at St. Ann's Catholic School and later attended Central Catholic High School. He also attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX, after which he proudly served in the U.S. Army, significantly contributing to his country.

Following his military service, Ray embarked on a successful career as a sales agent for Allstate Insurance. He demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication throughout his tenure, earning numerous recognitions and awards.

Ray was a devout individual who found solace in his faith. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where he found spiritual guidance and a sense of community.

Ray Lopez, Jr. will be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, doting grandfather, and dedicated professional. His kindness, welcoming nature, and generosity touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
