Rey grew up in a bustling household, surrounded by a large and loving family. He was the cherished son of Sandra Flores and Ronnie Martinez, and stepson to Tony Flores. His siblings, Crystal Rojas, Ronnie Martinez, Marliena Garcia, Juan Flores, Carlos Flores, Madelyn Martinez, Leila Flores, Silas Flores, and Zachary Flores, will remember Rey as a beacon of light and laughter in their lives. His girlfriend, Erika Rodriguez, whom he adored beyond measure, will carry his memory in her heart forever.
A proud graduate of MacArthur High School, Rey was known for his charisma and his ability to light up any room he entered. After graduation, he channeled his boundless energy into his work as a contractor, painter, and entrepreneur. With a keen eye for detail and a relentless work ethic, Rey quickly became known in his community for his quality workmanship and reliable service.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Rey had a passion for the finer things in life. A self-proclaimed sneaker head and hat collector, he had an impressive array of fashion items that reflected his impeccable style. Rey's collections were more than just hobbies—they wereextensions of his personality, each piece carefully chosen and treasured—vibrant, unique, and full of life.
Those who knew Rey would describe him as faith-filled, loving, and funny. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and guidance. His love knew no bounds, and it was evident in the way he cared for his family and friends.
